In the shadow of Ely Cathedral's tower, the history
of the Lamb dates back to the 13th century. By the 15th century
the Lamb was a thriving coaching inn and whilst it retains a traditional
air, the hotel has been sympathetically refurbished to cater for
the needs of the modern visitor.
The
Oak Bar and the Fenman Bar serve a large selection of traditional
beers and bar meals. For a more substantial meal the award winning
Octagon Restaurant provides excellent and varied cuisine with a
fine wine list.
There
are 32 en-suite rooms, including charming four poster bedrooms.
The Coach House conference room caters for up to 30 guests.
This 14th century Hotel, situated in the shadow of the Cathedral
offers a friendly, but professional service, with its modern facilities
and AA rosette awarded restaurant. An ideal base to visit East Anglia.
