Ely CAMRA is a sub branch of Cambridge. As branches go, we are quite a dynamic little group frequently arranging brewery trips, social trips etc. we always, rather sensibly, arrange a mini bus for branch meetings out of Ely and have just appointed, at last month's branch elections, a bottom-kicking new committee. AND VENUES OF FUTURE MEETINGS
Ely
and District branch of CAMRA are
holding its first beer festival on 14th and 15th March 2003 at Larkfields
Centre.
There is no camra meeting in December, it is replaced by a Christmas
Social at the"fat Cat" in Norwich. details available on request.
January's meeting is at the Winter Beer Festival in Cambridge at 7 pm.
February 6th is at the cutter in Ely 7.45 pm
and
March 6th at the West End, Ely, 7.45 pm
Approval for the proposed ely beer festival has come through from hq
so it's full steam ahead. dates are friday 14th and saturday 15th march
2003, 17.00 - 2300 and 11.00 - 2230 respectively,. venue is Larkfield
School, High Barns. There will be a nominal admission fee though entrance
for camra members is free.
